Ginger Welch is an associate agent at the Pat Muir Agent, licensed in IL and WI. She specializes in personal lines insurance including home, condo, renter’s, auto, umbrella and “toys,” such as boats, RV’s, and motorcycles. Ginger has been helping clients insure what is important to them for the past 17 years. When she is not working, Ginger spends time with her husband Marshall of 35 years, their 3 sons and their families including 5 grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, taking pictures and following the World Champion Chicago Cubs!
Carmen is a former Major League Baseball player with the Chicago Cubs (left handed pitcher) who now focuses his competitive energy on getting the best coverage, service, and pricing for his clients. The goal being to properly protect what they have worked a lifetime to build. Carmen has 9 years experience in the insurance industry with a primary focus on commercial insurance coverage and financial services. Carmen is licensed in IL, IN, WI and MI. Carmen is also very active in the community! He volunteers with the Geneva High School Baseball team and coaches both of his son’s youth baseball teams. Carmen is married, and a father to two. He enjoys playing golf, Notre Dame football and spending time with his family.
Shawn joined the Pat Muir Agency in May of 2016 with well over 10 years of hands on experience. She handles the marketing and servicing on all lines of commercial and professional coverages, while building and maintaining client and underwriting relationships. She utilizes the knowledge gained from her 10 years of experience. She has placed coverage for various types of risks: Artisan Contractors, Transportation, Home Buildings, Oil Companies, Restaurants, Residential and Commercial Properties and many others. Shawn takes great pride in serving her clients and giving them the best possible price and coverage for their unique needs. When she is not working she is enjoying her family and friends.
Associate agent, Mary Kay Gwinn, has been with the Pat Muir Agency for 16 years. Mary Kay specializes in personal lines and customer service and is also the Office Manager for the Pat Muir Agency. Mary Kay, the sister of Pat Muir, takes pride in working for a family-operated business. In her free time, Mary Kay enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and extended family.
Michael Muir is a certified work comp advisor helping companies conquer work comp challenges. Michael has developed a program that helps companies wrestle back control from the insurance carrier. His program develops a blueprint unique to each business that will accomplish the following:
· Identify and reduce mistakes in their workers comp program.
· Design strategies so companies can reach their controllable mod.
· Help companies stop overpaying for their insurance and put thousands of hidden dollars back into their pocket.
· Implement a marketing strategy that will create competition in the insurance marketplace causing carriers to fight for their business.
When Michael isn’t thinking of new work comp strategies, his time is spent with his family, on the golf course, or on their boat.
Ann (Renner) Creaney is the newest member of the Pat Muir Agency. She was born and raised in Lake Zurich, knowing many families in town. She is currently an office associate, focusing on commercial lines and working on her insurance license. Ann has experience in a few different fields, but enjoys the continued work in an office, family owned setting. She has a combined office experience of 8 years. She also has a degree in Medical Office Administration and Transcription. She is excited to learn more and more about the insurance industry to help service others. Ann is married and has a 1 year old French Bulldog named Po. Her hobbies include: cooking, reading, writing, and enjoying time with her family and friends. Ann is glad to call the Pat Muir Agency home.
Cassandra has worked in the insurance industry since 1988. She started her career in the mailroom at Kemper Life Insurance. Over the last 30 years, she has learned a great deal and has seen many changes in the industry, from sales to service, it never gets boring! Since Cassandra worked with her first customer, many years ago, she knew this is what she wanted to do. She was hooked! There is nothing better in life than knowing that you are giving your customer the best product to protect their most important assets. Her personal philosophy has not changed from the day she took her test. She will not give her customers anything that she would not give herself or her family. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her husband and 3 small dogs. Cassandra, her husband and her dogs love to travel and see new places. Life is too short, everyone should enjoy it and never take it for granted.
Dan is a second-generation insurance agent. He is the youngest of Pat’s three children. Dan handles all the daily operations of the agencies, manages personal lines and personal line contracts, as well as, customer service and sales. Dan spent most of his twenties in the restaurant business before he became an agent. He likes to write policies as if they were his own. He wants to make sure that all his clients know what they have and don’t have on their policies. He strives for his clients to understand their policy. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his friends and family. His hobbies include: golfing, cooking, wine, boating and all kinds of sports.
